Poison oak has three leaves on each branch and the berries are white. and of course the berries are poisonous. there are no leaves in the winter. summer leaves are green and pink. fall leaves are bright red and brown. LEAVES OF THREE LET IT BE!!

Poison oak is found in many places. it is found in North america, Canada, Columbia, Britain, Mexico, these are just a few places that I mention. Here are some others C.A. woodland area, North pacific coast and Douglas fir forest commonly found in eastern and Midwestern states in the U.S.A. and hillsides,open forest, pastures, stream banks lastly you can find it 3,500 feet or higher. 

The native Americans use the poison oak leaves for medical purposes too the used it to cure warts, pain, rheumatoid arthritis, swelling, itchy skin disorders and menstrul peiond  problems.

The poison oak is edible but you can´t just bite a leave. the native Americans raped poison oak leaves around bread then ate it and also used it for covering fire pits for baked foods.

The poison oak was also used for dye that the native Americans used long time ago when there was no dye making machines 

The roots of the poison oak where once used for sewing as the needle.Native Americans had immunity towards poison oak but any crossbreed with a white man cancels the immunity. there are also 40  types of poison oak in the world
